ICC’s Baker named MACJC Player of the Week

FULTON – For the second time this season sophomore guard Ty-Nita Baker has been named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Player of the Week.

The Houston native scored 30 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to help the Lady Indians nearly upset then No. 6 Shelton State Community College and scored a game-high 21 points in an 80-55 win over Northeast Mississippi Community College.

The Indians will join the Lady Indians to close out the 2012 portion of the season with a home game against Lawson State Community College on Thursday before hitting the road to Meridian Community College on Saturday.
