OXFORD – Dylan Jordan’s game-winning goal in the 84th minute propelled the No. 23 Rebels to a 1-0 win over Alabama in the final match of the regular season on Sunday at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
Ole Miss finished the regular season with a 13-4-2 overall record and a 7-2-2 mark in Southeastern Conference play.
The Rebels earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament. Ole Miss will open tournament play against sixth-seeded Auburn on Wednesday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.
It’s the highest seed for the Rebels since they were No. 2 in 2005, and the seven wins in league play marks the second-highest total in school history.
