NEMCC BASEBALL MOVES COAHOMA GAME DUE TO WEATHER

Booneville, Miss., — Northeast Mississippi Community College’s baseball team has rescheduled their game with Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale due to the weather.

Head Coach Kent Farris announced that the Tigers will not play tomorrow, Saturday, March 23 but will travel to Clarksdale on Sunday, March 24 for a first pitch to be tossed out at 1 p.m.

“As of right now, we have moved the game because of the rain,” explained Farris. However, we could possibly move it again to Monday depending on what happens the rest of today and tonight.”

FULTON, MS — Itawamba Community College head softball coach Andy Kirk announced Saturday’s home North Division doubleheader against Mississippi Delta Community College has been postponed due to concerns of inclement weather moving into the area.

The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 27th with Game 1 scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. with Game 2 to follow.

The Lady Indians (11-6-1, 5-1 MACJC North) is on a five-game win streak and have won seven of their last eight games and will host rival Northeast Mississippi Community College on Tuesday, March 26 in a North Division doubleheader scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. at the ICC Softball Complex.
