Last year’s Cinderella, FGCU, visits Starkville

It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools on the hardwood and will be televised on CSS.

The Bulldogs are shooting 46-percent from the field and lead the Southeastern Conference with 9.3 steals per game.

Sophomore shooting guard Craig Sword continues to pace MSU with 15.3 points.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 78-65 win over Florida A&M on Tuesday.

Florida Gulf Coast is 5-5 on the year coming off its Cinderella run last year as the first 15-seed ever to advance to the Sweet 16. The Eagles fell 68-66 in double overtime to South Florida on Tuesday.
