The Patriots were led by their one-two offensive punch of quarterback Dakota Dailey and running back Devin McGregor.
“It’s always good to be 3-0 this time of the year,” Marshall coach Bart Jenkins said.
Dailey completed 10 of 12 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. His first strike was 27 yards to Colt Lindsey. His second was a 20-yarder to McGregor, while his third was a 64-yard connection with A.K. Boyd..
Dailey also scored TDs on a 58-yard pass interception return in the second quarter and a 14-yard run in the second quarter.
McGregor, who rushed for 113 yards on seven carries and scored three times on runs of 11, 23 and 65 yards. He also returned a kickoff 72 yards for paydirt in the first quarter.
Marshall was coming off a 48-42 win last week against Oak Hill Academy.
“We were fortunate to get that win last week,” Jenkins said. “We had to play four quarters.
“This week we had a good game plan. I thought we played well offensively. We had one long run called back by McGregor on a penalty. Defensively, we’re starting to progess. We’re figuring out what we can do.”
Tunica (2-1) scored both of its touchdowns in the first half on passes.
