McDonald in 3rd place at Rebel Intercollegiate

OXFORD – Mississippi State sophomore Ally McDonald, from Fulton, is three strokes off the lead heading to today’s final round of the M&F
Bank Rebel Intercollegiate at the Ole Miss Golf Course.
McDonald followed a career-best 68 in the opening round with a 1-under 71 on Saturday.
Her career-best 139 total after two rounds left her trailing only Baylor’s Hayley Davis (67-69–136) and Coastal Carolina’s Jessica Alexander (70-67–137).
MSU is in sixth place at 588. Ole Miss is in seventh place at 592.
Rebels freshman Abby Newton shot a career-best 71 on Saturday and is tied for seventh place at 144.
Coastal Carolina (573) leads the tourney, with Tulane (579) second and Baylor (582) third.
