Mississippi State has once again sold out of football season tickets, and once again it’s set a record.
The school announced today that it’s entire allotment of 43,518 season tickets have been sold, marking the quickest sellout in school history. The total breaks the record set last year (about 43,300, which broke the 2009 record of 40,901).
The 43,518 number is not actually official, because student tickets have not gone on sale yet. But MSU expects to (again) sell out the approximately 11,000 student tickets, which will be made available starting Aug. 27 – that’s a Saturday.
If you missed out, fear not, there will still be individual game tickets as well as the three-game package, which costs $75 and gets you into games against Louisiana Tech, UT-Martin and South Carolina. There are about 1,300 of those packages left.
Individual game tickets for Bulldog Club members will go on sale July 18 for the three games included in that package plus the Egg Bowl.
