STARKVILLE – Four members of Mississippi State’s 2013 football signing class are on campus.
The school officially announced the arrival Tuesday of receiver Jeremey Chappelle, defensive back Kivon Coman, defensive back Justin Cox and tight end Artimas Samuel.
All four players have been enrolled for the new term and will be able to participate in spring practices in a few weeks.
Chappelle and Cox both come from the junior college ranks, the latter from nearby East Mississippi Community College.
Chappelle (Tyler, Texas) should help shore up a receiving corps that’s losing four seniors, while Cox could ease the losses at cornerback.
Coman and Samuel both signed with MSU last year but wound up at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia this past fall.
