MSU freshman Smith out of hospital; return unknown

Mississippi State freshman DeVille Smith said on Twitter that he is out of the hospital 11 days after being admitted for dizziness, headaches and memory loss.
On Tuesday, Smith tweeted, “im out n feeling better than i ever felt!!!!”
The backup point guard, who’s from Jackson, has missed the No. 22-ranked Bulldogs’ last three games. He was admitted Jan. 20, and it’s not known when he’ll return to school and rejoin the team.
Coach Rick Stansbury could not be reached for comment Tuesday night.
Smith is averaging 5.4 points and 2.4 assists per game.
