MSU golf chooses Old Waverly as new home course

8TB6_MSU_primary_logoThe golf programs at Mississippi State have a new home.

Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point will be the new home course for both the men’s and women’s golf teams. The $2.2 million project will include the construction of a driving range, short-game area, putting green, indoor hitting bays and a team clubhouse.

Over $1.3 million has been raised so far which has allowed the first phase of the project to commence. The team practice area (which features a putting green in the shape of the state of Mississippi) is expected to be completed this fall.

The 6,300-square foot clubhouse and other amenities will be completed whenever the remaining funds are received.
