MSU, Memphis meet on diamond tonight

8TB6_MSU_primary_logoSTARKVILLE – Mississippi State baseball fans had to adjust their schedules once again as today’s game against Memphis was pushed back to a 6:30 p.m. start.

Today marks the 75th meeting between the two programs, dating back to 1950. The Bulldogs hold a 52-22 lead in the series, including last year’s 12-1 victory at AutoZone Park.

MSU (2-1) won its opening series against Western Carolina, while the Tigers swept Western Michigan at home over the weekend.

The Bulldogs will send senior right-hander Ben Bracewell (1-0, 0.00 ERA) to the bump, while Memphis counters with junior southpaw Caleb Wallingford (1-0, 0.00 ERA).
