MSU returns five starters from last year’s 23-13 squad, which lost to Washington in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Among the newcomers playing today will be Renardo Sidney, who hasn’t been certified for competition by the NCAA but can play in exhibition games.
OCU, which has won six NAIA national championships, went 15-16 last year. MSU beat the Stars in Starkville last season in an exhibition game, 67-65.
