MSU student tickets sell out as Dogs return to work

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State sold out of its student season tickets on Tuesday, and that’s all football coach Dan Mullen could seem to think about.
MSU students were able to start buying their tickets Monday morning, and they went quickly, with more than 9,100 going on the first day.
When asked about Tuesday’s practice, Mullen didn’t even address the question.
“I was happy about the student season tickets, that was kind of going through my mind a lot,” he said.
As for the practice, Mullen said his team worked on “game situations,” but he did not elaborate.
He did confirm that sophomore Shane McCardell was moved from defensive end to wide receiver.
