Mississippi State will wear new helmets for its season opener against No. 13 Oklahoma State. MSU unveiled the new look on its Twitter and Facebook pages on Wednesday.

The maroon helmets feature a giant Bulldog head and are in the same style as last year’s white “Snow Bowl” helmets worn against Texas A&M. The helmets were made by adidas, which has an athletic apparel contract with MSU.

The Bulldogs meet Oklahoma State on Saturday in Houston at 2:30 p.m. on ABC and ESPN2.
