NORMAN, Okla. – Mississippi State sophomore Ally McDonald was tied for third after Thursday’s first day of the NCAA women’s Central
Regional golf tournament.
McDonald, from Fulton, shot a 3-under 69 and is two strokes off the lead. She had four birdies against one bogey in the first round.
MSU was tied for seventh as a team at 4-over 290, eight strokes behind leader Florida. The top eight teams in each regional advance to the NCAA national tournament
