MSU’s Ndoye cleared for 2014-15 season

8TB6_MSU_primary_logoSTARKVILLE – Mississippi State basketball signee Fallou Ndoye will get to start his collegiate playing career in
2014-15.

Through an initial eligibility waiver, the 6-foot-11 center was ruled an academic partial qualifier by the NCAA, the school said Friday. That means Ndoye may be on scholarship and practice with the team this coming season, but he will have to take a redshirt.

His four-year eligibility clock will begin with the 2014-15 season. Ndoye, a native of Senegal, averaged 7.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game last season for Findlay Prep in Nevada, helping the team to a 35-1 record.
