NeMissPreps.com MVP January voting begins

By NeMissPreps.com

Some of the many top athletes in Northeast Mississippi will be honored soon, and you can help. There is still time to vote this month for the January winner.

NeMissPreps.com has now started a Most Valuable Player section on the website. Each month four area players will be selected and users can vote on the player they think should be a NeMissPreps.com MVP.

Coaches, players and fans can also send in nominations on the NeMissPreps.com message board or email them to todd.vinyard@journalinc.com.

Each MVP selected will receive a t-shirt and have a story written about them on NeMissPreps.com. They also will also have a profile created for them on the site.

The first NeMissPreps.com MVP was Aberdeen football standout Channing Ward.

NeMissPreps is a website about Everything High School Sports.

It contains stories and photos from the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal and other Journal Inc. publications.

Players can create free profiles on the site that can be digital scrapbooks with stories and photos of them.

Anyone interested in being a NeMissPreps.com editor and helping keep up with an area high school should contact Todd Vinyard at todd.vinyard@journalinc.com.
