Veteran utility man Bill Hall, from Nettleton, broke the news on his personal Twitter account Saturday night that he’s back in the baseball business.
Hall, 33, signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Angels and will report to extended spring training and then Triple-A Salt Lake.
The Angels had released Hall in late March.
Hall appeared in only seven major league games last season, going 2-for-9 for the Orioles. He spent the majority of the year at
Triple-A Norfolk.
He’s appeared in 1,054 big-league games, hitting .248 with 125 home runs – 35 of those for the Brewers in 2007 – and 440 RBIs.
