Rick Ray should round out his coaching staff today.
Mississippi State’s new head coach announced the hire of Chris Hollender on Monday, and today he’s expected to announce the addition of Adam Gordon as director of basketball operations.
Hollender spent the last three seasons at Evansville – his alma mater – and was an assistant at Army for seven years prior to that.
Ray said in a school release that Hollender will help develop players and aid in the installation of the motion offense.
Gordon was director of basketball operations at Northern Colorado this season after three years as a graduate assistant at Clemson, which is where Ray spent the past two years.
