BOONEVILLE – Northeast Mississippi Community College’s baseball program announced the signing of another stand-out recruit on Monday, February 5, 2013.

Head Coach Kent Farris has inked another left handed pitcher by the name of Josh Peterson from Denver, Colo.

Peterson played for the Davey Jones team over the summer — out of Denver — and the lefty/first baseman from Ralston Valley High School in Arvada, Colo., had an .337 batting average to go along with 33 doubles, six triples, 40 runs batted in, and one homerun.

“Josh is a great kid that has played with one of the premier summer clubs out of Colorado. We can’t wait to get him on campus and have him as a part of our program,” said Farris.
