BOONEVILLE – Northeast Mississippi Community College golf coach Craig Lauderdale continues to bolster his 2011-12 recruiting class with a pair of two-time state champions.

Lauderdale picked up signings from Baldwyn High School standouts Jordan Wilson and Ty Lindsey on Monday, June 6 in a ceremony inside the media room on the second floor of the Haney Union on the Booneville campus.

Lindsey and Wilson join fellow Prentiss County standout Darren Farrar (Thrasher) and Muscle Shoals, Ala. linkster Austin Woodard in Lauderdale’s 2011-12 signing class.

While at Baldwyn High School, Wilson and Lindsey helped lead the Bearcats to back-to-back Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 2A State Golf Championships in 2010 and 2011.

In 2009, the duo guided Baldwyn to a 2009 Class 2A State Runner-up finish for breaking through for the state championship in 2010.

Wilson was the 2011 individual state runner-up and has been named to the Class 2A All-State team during all four years of his entire varsity career while Lindsey was a member the All-State squad in 2010 and 2011.

In addition to walking the links, Lindsey also suited up for the Baldwyn High School baseball team.
