Northeast wraps up women's signing class

BOONEVILLE – Northeast Community College has added three more student-athletes to its women’s basketball roster.

Erika Strowder, Monique Biggins and Tiffany Martin each signed Monday, pushing the Lady Tigers’ total number of 2010 signees to 12.

Strowder is a 5’9″ guard out of Southwind High School in Memphis. She averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game and was named to the 15-AAA All-District team in Tennessee.

Biggins, a 5’9″ forward from Horn Lake, was an All-Division 2-6A and All-State player who knocked down 15 points per game. She also pulled down seven boards and three steals on the season for the Eagles, who won the 6A State Championship.

Martin, a 5’5″ point guard from Olive Branch, averaged seven assists and 17 points her senior season and was also selected as an All-Division 2-6A player.
