MADISON – The Ole Miss men’s golf team earned a ninth place finish in a rain-shortened BancorpSouth Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
The Rebels shot a 297 in a second round that was first postponed due to thunderstorms on Monday afternoon and once again on Tuesday morning. The third round was cancelled.
Ole Miss turned in a final score of 582. Senior Joe David led the Rebels with a 143 for 14th place.
Mississippi State (584) finished 11th, while Southern Miss (601) was 14th.
The Bulldogs were led by Fulton native Chad Ramey who tied for sixth place with a score of 141, while Houston native Alex Rowland tied for 20th with a 144.
