Jonathan Randolph of Ole Miss was named the SEC Golfer of the Week by the league office on Wednesday.
Randolph captured his third career tournament title, third of the year and the second of the spring season, winning the Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational, March 19-21, at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga.
The Brandon native shot a five-under-par 211 to tie with two other players, but won medalist honors on the first playoff hole.
This spring, Randolph has two firsts, a second and a third place finish. In nine total tournaments this season, he has six top five finishes and seven top 10s.. He leads the SEC with a 70.52 stroke average and is ranked seventh in the latest Golfweek rankings and 10th by Golfstat.
Randolph has eight rounds in the 60s this season with 20 at or under par.
