Runaway No. 1 Kansas, Texas and Villanova remain the three top teams in The Associated Press’ college basketball poll, while four schools move into the Top 25.
The Jayhawks (7-0) received all but three first-place votes from the 65-member national media panel on Monday. Kentucky and Purdue switched places at fourth and fifth, while West Virginia, Syracuse, Duke, Tennessee and Florida rounded out the Top Ten.
No. 20 Wisconsin and Texas Tech, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss, which were 23rd through 25th, moved into the rankings this week, replacing Clemson, Louisville, Florida State and Portland.
This is Texas Tech’s first appearance in the poll since March 2005, while the others have all been ranked at some point since the 2007-08 season.
