Ole Miss, MSU romp to open NCAA tennis

Both the Ole Miss and Mississippi State tennis teams were easy winners on Friday as they opened NCAA Championship play on their home courts.
The sixth-seeded Rebels weathered a rain delay and beat Lehigh 4-0, while 10th seeded MSU defeated Austin Peay 4-0.
The Rebels, driven indoors with a 2-0 lead, play Memphis – a 4-0 winner on Friday over BYU – today at 2 p.m. with a trip to the Sweet 16 at stake.
Ole Miss defeated Memphis 4-2 on Feb. 27 in Oxford in its first outdoor match of the season.
The Bulldogs play Harvard – 4-0 winner over Samford – today at 1 p.m.
