Ole Miss, MSU women play tonight

The Ole Miss and Mississippi State will face SEC competition on the court tonight.

The Rebels visit Missouri in search of their second SEC win in the next-to-last game at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs will host No. 12 Kentucky and will try for third win over a Top 25 team.

The Rebels (10-18, 1-13) are led by Tia Faleru’s 17 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

State is coming off back-to-back overtime games last week. She leads the SEC with 15 double-doubles and has achieved that status 10 times in the last 16 games.

Mississippi State junior center Martha Alwal is the reigning SEC Player of the Week and is averaging 15.9 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.
