Ole Miss standouts Greg Hardy and Dexter McCluster avoided serious injury during a two-car accident Saturday.
Both were bruised and sore afterward, but avoided serious injury, the school said in a statement Monday.
Hardy, an all-Southeastern Conference defensive end, aggravated a right foot injury that cost him several games last season and spring practice.
Hardy has twice had surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot and will now wear a boot for the next 10 days. Doctors will re-evaluate the senior after the boot comes off. He was working out daily before the accident with no problems, the school said.
McCluster, a senior who plays wide receiver, running back and quarterback in the Wildcat formation, suffered bruises.
