Ole Miss rained out at Arkansas set to play doubleheader today

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Friday night’s game between Ole Miss (30-23, 13-15 SEC) and Arkansas (34-18, 13-15 SEC) has been postponed due to heavy rain in the Fayetteville, Ark., area. The Rebels and the Razorbacks will play a a pair of seven-inning contests starting at 12:05 p.m., with the second game set to go at 3 p.m.
Ole Miss took the first game, 2-1, on Friday night to begin the final regular season series of the year. Both the Rebels and the Razorbacks, who sit one game back of Alabama in the SEC Western Division standings, need wins to earn a spot in the SEC Tournament next week in Hoover.
The Rebels will go with junior right-hander
David Goforth (4-7, 5.03 ERA) in the first game
and junior lefty Austin Wright (5-4, 4.73) in the second.
