Ole Miss slips in top 25, entertains Southern Miss

OXFORD – Ole Miss salvaged a game in the South Carolina series, its only win of last week, and dropped five spots to No. 19 Monday in the latest release of the Baseball America Top 25.
The Rebels are back in action tonight at 6:30 at Swayze Field against in-state rival Southern Mississippi.
The Golden Eagles are 18-16 overall after losing two of three in a Conference USA series at Marshall over the weekend.
Ole Miss defeated Southern Miss 11-6 at Trustmark Park in Pearl on March 23.
The Rebels are 24-13 overall and tied with Auburn for third place in the SEC West at 8-7. They are at home this weekend against No. 8 LSU.
