Ole Miss, State softball teams swept on road

Top-ranked Alabama remained unbeaten with Sunday’s 12-1, five-inning victory over visiting Ole Miss.
Rebels first baseman Londen Ladner drove in her 12th run in the last 10 games, but Ole Miss (13-12, 2-3 SEC) fell for the third time in three weekend games against the Crimson Tide (25-0, 6-0).
MSU FALLS: Mississippi State couldn’t avert a weekend sweep at LSU, falling 4-0 on Sunday. The Bulldogs (17-12, 3-7) stranded nine runners, including Britany Bell, who tripled with one out in the sixth.
