Ole Miss women entertain Central Michigan

OXFORD – The Ole Miss women’s basketball team is back in action this afternoon.
The Rebels take on Central Michigan at 2:30 p.m., at Tad Smith Coliseum. Admission is free.
Ole Miss had a five-game win streak snapped in a 76-48 loss at No. 9 Miami last Saturday. The Rebels were eight points back with less than 10 minutes remaining.
Sophomore forward Nikki Byrd leads Ole Miss in scoring (14.0 ppg) and rebounding (10.9 rpg). Byrd leads the SEC and ranks 12th in the NCAA in rebounding.
Central Michigan (3-5) competes in the MAC and is coming off a 75-62 home win over No. 12 Purdue.
Forward Crystal Bradford leads the Chippewas in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (7.1 rpg).
Central Michigan defeated Ole Miss 82-66 last season on its Mount Pleasant, Mich., campus.
