The Ole Miss women’s basketball team is back in action tonight at Tad Smith Coliseum.
The Rebels take on Southeastern Louisiana at 7 p.m.
It’s the final non-conference game for Ole Miss (9-3) which opens SEC play Sunday, a New Year’s Day 2 p.m., tip against LSU in Oxford.
Southeastern Louisiana (4-7) is averaging 62.7 points, giving up 65.5. The Lions are 0-4 on the road.
Ole Miss has won three straight since an overtime home loss to Central Michigan.
Sophomore point guard Valencia McFarland leads the Rebels in scoring at 14.6 points a game, followed by senior forward Nikki Byrd at 14.3.
Byrd recorded a double double, her eighth of the season, with 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 64-59 win over Murray State on Dec. 19. The Rebels followed that with a 74-63 win over Cleveland State in their last game.
