Olive Branch’s Fejfar wins King of the Hill

Jeff Fejfar of Olive Branch won Saturday’s King of the Hill Triathlon at Tombigbee State Park on Saturday by almost five minutes.
Fejfar, 37, completed the course – a half-mile swim, a 20-mile cycling race and a 3.2-mile run – in 1 hour, 20 minutes and 37.94 seconds.
Runnerup Mile Fortas of Memphis finished in 1:25:38.65 with Aaron Ford of Saltillo third in 1:28:94.67.
Fejfar had the second fastest time in the swim (13:41.94), the fastest bike time (46:09.26) and the third-fastest run (19:49.22).
Debbie Carey, 39, of Germantown, Tenn., defended her women’s title in 1:33:32.69.
There were 120 finishers.
