State dove field permits now available online
Permits to hunt state-operated dove fields are available now at mdwfp.com. In the past few years, the state department of wildlife, fisheries and parks has leased a number of fields and had them planted in dove-friendly crops.
Memberships are available in a number of combinations and are priced beginning at roughly $100 per permit, but the actual amount varies by field.
In the Northeast Mississippi area, there are fields in Alcorn, Tate and Kemper counties. Visit mdwfp.com or call 601-432-2400 for more information.
