Oxford High School screens ‘Mississippi Gridiron Gold’ tonight

OXFORD – Football fans will have a golden opportunity to see a newly released documentary that tells the unique story of Mississippi high school football. “Mississippi Gridiron Gold” make sits Oxford debut at 7 tonight in the Oxford H.S. Auditorium.

The 80-minute documentary, based on the book “Gridiron Gold,” is filled with interviews from many of the legendary coaches responsible for building the tradition of high school football success in Mississippi.

Admission is $8 with half of the general admission benefiting the school district’s athletic booster club.
