Oxford High School’s Justin Fondren, one of the nation’s top prep high jumpers, won at the Ole Miss Invitational on Saturday with a jump of 6-6.
Also, Oxford’s Erika Sisk jumped 17-71⁄2 to win the long jump and leaped 36-2 to win the triple jump.
In the girls 3,200 meters, Starkville’s Kate Mattox was first in 11:33 while Tupelo’s Christina Daniels was second in 11:46.
Tupelo’s Garrett Rogers placed second in the 800 meters with a school-record clocking of 1:57.57.
