FULTON – Itawamba Community College head football coach Jon Williams announced two more Indians have signed National Letters of Intent during the early signing period in sophomores Connor Popeck (Olive Branch) and Brennan Tutor (Pontotoc).

Popeck, a 6’3, 295 center, signed with Western Kentucky University and Tutor, a 6’4, 285 guard, inked with Arkansas State University.

“I’m really excited to be part of Western Kentucky’s football program,” said Popeck. “I’m looking forward to continuing my career there and am really thankful for everything the coaches here at ICC have done to help prepare me for being able to take my game to the next level.”

The duo anchored the Indians’ line that helped the offense averaged 393.2 total yards per game.

“It’s been a long ride,” said Tutor. “It took a lot of twists and turns on whether or not I’d be able to play on the next level, but the coaches really helped me by pushing me and showing me what it would take both on and off the field to be able to reach this goal in my life. I’ll always be greatly appreciative for what the coaches and everyone did for me here at ICC.”
