Rebels, Bulldogs close SEC track meet with victories

Ole Miss picked up a pair of individual titles and Mississippi State won the concluding relay as the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships
ended on Sunday in Athens, Ga.
For the Rebels, Lee Ellis Moore (50.31) won the 400-meter hurdles and Ricky Robertson (7-foot-6) won the high jump. For Robertson, it was his fourth consecutive SEC title in the event – two outdoor and two indoor.
In the final event, Mississippi State’s 4×400 relay team – James Harris, Daundre Barnaby, Randy Patterson and O’Neal Wilder – won in 3:07.65, with Alabama (3:07.87) second.
The Arkansas men and LSU women won the team titles. It’s the 16th SEC men’s crown for the Razorbacks.
The Ole Miss men finished sixth and MSU men ninth in the team competition.
