Ole Miss tumbled a little farther in this week’s Baseball America poll, while Mississippi State fell all the way out.
The Rebels (23-6, 4-5 SEC) dropped six spots to No. 17 after losing two of three at Florida over the weekend. They were ranked sixth just two weeks ago but have lost four of seven since then.
MSU (23-8, 3-6), which four weeks ago was ranked third, was 25th last week and is now out of the poll. The Bulldogs have lost four consecutive weekend series and dropped two of three at Arkansas over the weekend.
