Rebels, ranked 19th, report for camp today

OXFORD – Ole Miss football players will check in with head coach Hugh Freeze and his staff this morning.

The Rebels are scheduled to conducted media day activities later today.

Ole Miss was ranked No. 19 in the Amway Coaches Poll when it was released Thursday afternoon. The Rebels are among seven SEC schools in the top 25.Florida State was the unanimous No. 1, followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon and Auburn.

The first Ole Miss practice is set for Saturday morning. The Aug. 9 practice at 9:45 a.m. is currently the only announced workout that is open to the public.

The Rebels, 15-11 with two bowl wins in two years under Freeze, open the season Aug. 28 against Boise State at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
