TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Sam Smith turned in his fifth quality start, but Ole Miss could not avoid the series sweep at Alabama.

The Rebels (21-8, 4-5 SEC) lost 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. They’ve lost four games in a row.

Alabama’s Jon Keller (5-1) worked a complete game and allowing only seven hits with three walks and eight strikeouts.

“It’s been a bad week where we’ve lost all kinds of ways,” said Ole Miss Mike Bianco. “We did not hit well today or give ourselves a shot offensively.”
