Rebels work on getting special teams organized

OXFORD – The Ole Miss football team worked out in shorts and shoulder pads Friday, spending a lot of the practice on special teams and specific situations as game week approaches.
“We had a pretty good day today organizing special teams and substitutions,” head coach Houston Nutt said. “We tried to go over everything you can think of from the last play of the game … to the victory formation.”
Today, the team will go through a game-day dress rehearsal in the stadium. “ We’ll have a dress rehearsal … to go over A-to-Z,” Nutt said. “We’ll put them in situations from kicking and punting to everything, to make sure we get 11 out on the field and make sure everybody’s paying attention.”
