Rodriguez says he’s pleased with Wolverines’ progress in early bowl practices

After a handful of bowl practices, Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez says his team is making progress.
“You can see the first couple days we were a little bit rusty, especially throwing the football, but as we went along, we’ve been getting better,” Rodriguez said Wednesday night.
The most encouraging sign may be quarterback Denard Robinson, who spent all season battling injuries.
“Denard is obviously the healthiest he’s been since the season started,” Rodriguez said. “He’s running a little faster, which you’d expect.”
