SEC dominates NFL Draft with 42 players selected

The SEC won another football title over the weekend as it led all leagues in the number of players selected during the NFL Draft.
There were 42 SEC players picked, edging out the Big Ten (41). It’s the sixth year in a row the SEC has been the top talent producer, a period in which the league has averaged 40 picks per draft.
All 12 SEC schools had players selected, with national champion Alabama (8) leading all colleges. The others: Georgia (7), South Carolina (6), LSU (5), Arkansas (4), Mississippi State (3), Florida (2), Kentucky (2), Vanderbilt (2), Auburn (1) Ole Miss (1) and Tennessee (1).
