Some Ole Miss related news out of Duke over the holiday weekend.
Blue Devils coach David Cutcliffe shuffled his staff a couple of his former Ole Miss players.
Kerry Johnson, an Oxford native, moved from assistant strength coach to an assistant’s position with Duke’s offensive coaches.
Johnson is replaced by a former Ole Miss teammate, Marcus Johnson, no relation. Marcus Johnson was an All-SEC offensive lineman under Cutcliffe at Ole Miss. He takes the position of assistant strength coach at Duke after spending five seasons in the NFL.
Eight of Cutcliffe’s on-field assistants at Duke have some previous Ole Miss connection.
