South rolls past North

The South scored a pair of touchdowns in the first 9 minutes and rolled to a weather-delayed 30-14 victory over the North before an estimated 2,500 at Mississippi College’s Robinson-Hale Stadium.

The South leads the series 27-25-4 under the current format.

Indianola Gentry safety Tavares White was named Best Defensive Player, beating out a standout performance by his North teammate, Noxubee County end Enoch Glenn.

The Bill Stewart Award for sportsmanship was presented to McComb linebacker Donovan Hill.
