HATTIESBURG – Southern Miss had planned to work outside on Wednesday in its first scheduled two-a-day practice of fall camp, but bad weather forced the Golden Eagles inside soon after the team hit the field for the evening session.
The Golden Eagles worked in full pads early Wednesday morning. They’ll try again to practice twice today.
Southern Miss will have its first scrimmage on Saturday.
