The 22-year-old outfielder was promoted from Triple-A Louisville to join the big league club for the first time.
He was a second-round draft pick out of Taylorsville High School in 2009.
Last year, he set a singles season pro baseball record by stealing 175 bases in Class A and Double-A. He was promoted to Triple-A this season and stole 75 bases – he was caught 15 times – while batting .256 in 123 games.
“Just run bases, play defense – whatever they need me for,” he said.
