Temple takes two pickoffs to the house at Ole Miss practice

OXFORD – Sophomore cornerback Marcus Temple returned two interceptions for touchdowns to lead the defense as August camp continued Tuesday at Ole Miss.
“Our first and second team defense looked awfully fast today,” Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt said. “They were moving to that football.”
Former South Panola All-American Darius “Tig” Barksdale competed in practice for the first time. The freshman safety was cleared by the NCAA late on Monday.
The Rebels will work again at 5:45 p.m. today.
The team will work in shoulder pads and shorts today and Thursday, then put on full pads Friday.
